SAVI has been present in the maritime market for over 70 years.
The story of this small Italian activity started in Genoa in 1950. It operates in the shipbuilding and ship repair business with painting and insulation services, then gradually evolved to become one of the major reference points in the shipbuilding business.
To grow, SAVI paid great attention to the requests of its most trusted customers. The desire to satisfy their demands was the driving force behind this extraordinary evolution! As the years went by, the company has specialized in different fields, starting to supply products which go beyond ordinary hull maintenance.
The internal production of flooring and insulating systems, and a few decades later of stainless steel, contributed to the acquisition of an even larger market share. But it isn’t all. The success achieved on the Italian and the international market made it possible for SAVI to open a new INTERIOR department, that today allows to deliver the customer turn-key projects with areas completely finished and furnished.
But behind a great company lies a team of strong workers which cooperate to complete projects able to satisfy customers’ needs. Every day for them is a new challenge: the extravagant requests, the complex logistical organization, and the increasingly pressing delivery times put the entire staff to the test, from technicians to project managers to office personnel, who nevertheless always manage to get the job done.
